Robitronic heeft de nieuwe 1:10 electro touringcar AVID nu officiëel geïntroduceerd als high-end touring car welke speciaal voor wedstrijdgebruik is ontworpen

Robitronic, de Duitse RC-Car producent, heeft hun nieuwe 190mm electro touring car geïntroduceerd. Deze nieuwe 1:10 is twee weken gelden voor het eerst ingezet bij de GP Carpet World Cup in Zwitserland, waar de auto een goede prestatie neer zette als beste nieuwe model. Robitronic heeft nu de officiële foto's van het productie model vrijgegeven, en het blijkt dat ook het productiemodel van de Avid een opvallende verschijning is met veel mooi rood geanodiseerd aluminium onderdelen. Maar natuurlijk zijn het niet alleen de looks die tellen, ook de vele speciale features maken dat deze auto toch verschilt van bestaande modellen van andere merken. In het beginstadium van het ontwerpen vroegen de designers zich af 'wat kunnen wij verbeteren aan bestaande technieken?' Het resultaat van deze designfilosofie is de nieuwe Avid 1:10 electro touring car welke ontworpen is voor maximale prestaties, een makkelijke handling, makkelijk onderhoud en afstellen. De Avid heeft enkele nieuwe features in de touring car sector. De 'high-efficiency' aandrijving is voorzien van extra grote pulleys voor de snaren, supersterke en 'smooth' aluminium differentieels en een verbeterde wielophanging/stuur geometrie voor een maximale bochtensnelheid, waarmee de Robitronic Avid klaar is om de concurrentie op het circuit aan te gaan. Eén van de speciale features is de nieuwe 'form-fit technology' welke toegepast is bij alle chassis- en wielophangingsonderdelen. De advies verkoopprijs van de Robitronic Avid 1:10 electro high-end touring car is €399.- als kit, zonder electronica noch motor en de auto is per direct leverbaar via de vakhandel.
