De nieuwe 1:12 onroad racer van Team Associated is nu officieel geintroduceerd

We hebben de nieuwe 1:12 van Team Associated al kunnen zien op de foto's van de International Toyfair, waar de auto op de stand van Thunder Tiger/Team Associated voor het eerst werd getoond aan het grote publiek. Nu heeft Team Associated de specificaties van deze nieuwe 1:12 electro onroad 12R5 gepubliceerd op hun website.
De Team Associated 12R5 is ontwikkeld voor competie; de auto is van een compromiloos design waarbij de nieuwste ontwikkelingen in de 1:12-klasse zijn toegepast. De 12R5 is voorzien van de speciale 'active strud' voorwielophanging en de schokdemper van de achterwielophanging (centraal geplaatst) is voorzien van vier verschillende montagepunten. Het chassis is van 2,5mm dik carbonvezel en heeft een geheel instebare pivot-ball achterwielophanging. Dankzij al de verschillende instelmogelijkheden is het mogelijk om de 12R5 aan elk circuit en elke ondergrond aan te passen. Wanneer de Team Associated 12R5 in Nederland verkrijgbaar is, is nog niet bekend, evenmin als de advies verkoopprijs.
