H.A.R.M. FX-1 The FX-1 chassis is the result of a consistent development of the already presented Formula 1 chassis beginning of 2001. The FX-1 chassis available now is a high-quality chassis with a lot of technical refinements.
The FX-1 chassis is based on CNC milled chassis plate made of high-quality 6 mm alloy. Together with the CNC-manufactured alloy side brackets a torsion resistant and stable chassis is achieved that also does justice to high demands. The shocks, also attached indirectly as with the H.A.R.M. Race chassis were put to the front. In this way there is more space for the mounting of the servos and a bigger pipe in order to achieve an increase in power. The front and rear axle comes stock with adjustable stabilizers.
A further peculiarity are the a-arms at the front and rear axle whose angles of inclination are adjustable thus the driving behaviour can be influenced. With this technology a lot of good experiences have been gained within the touring car area, today it is standard with the competition touring cars. The double triangle a-arms at front and rear axle allow all important adjustments as for example camber, toe-out etc. Alternatively the FX-1 chassis can be delivered with disk brakes for front and rear axle or hydraulic brake system. With these braking systems where the brake disks are fixed in the wheel not just an original visual but also a perfect braking effect is achieved. The car is equipped with belt drive and comes completely mounted.
The H.A.R.M. FX-1 chassis is delivered with the strong 2-stroke abc-Solo Champion engine or alternatively with the Zenoah G23RC engine with pull-starter. All turning parts are equipped with ball bearings. The multi-part body as well as the front part are made of transparent polycarbonate. The rear wing is made of stable black plastic.
